Design Through Production

Furniture and lighting design developed from concept to manufacture

What I Do

Furniture and lighting design developed from concept to manufacture. My practice collaborates with architecture and interior studios, as well as emerging and leading design brands, to create production-ready objects.

Projects range from bespoke one-off pieces to scalable product families, encompassing upholstery, freestanding furniture, and decorative lighting.

Designs are developed collaboratively and client-led, supported by technical detailing, prototyping, and close coordination with manufacturers.

Experience across materials, processes, and cost-minded design ensures each piece is purposeful, buildable and appropriate to its context.

Supplier Network

Specialised Manufacture Partners

An established network of specialist manufacturers across the UK, Europe, and Asia supports projects from early prototyping through to production.

Long-standing relationships enable a collaborative development process, where ideas are tested, refined, and translated into production with clarity and care.

The network brings together small, highly specialised workshops and larger industrial partners, allowing work to move fluidly between bespoke pieces and scalable product families.

Partners are selected for their material intelligence, technical precision, and ability to realise design intent at the appropriate scale.

Materials & Processes

Extending what is possible

Alongside standard furniture and lighting production, access to a range of specialised materials and processes allows projects to move beyond the expected.

Additional Support

Commercial Packages

Where projects extend beyond one-off or site-specific pieces, support can be provided through the delivery of a market-ready product.

This may include packaging design, technical documentation, product manuals, compliance material, and sustainability reports

Routes to Market

When projects extend beyond development and production, additional support can be provided to bring products to market with guidance in establishing retail and distribution partnerships, supported by an existing network of international industry contacts.

Exhibitions & Art Direction

This may include art direction for product imagery, launch strategy, exhibition and installation design, or coordination of international design fairs.
These services are particularly relevant for emerging brands, design studios, or projects intended for broader commercial release, and can be tailored to the scale and ambitions of each product.
